A little bird told me…
Continuamos con las fotos de las aves maravillosas de Jero Tamarit, un especialista en cetrería de la zona.
Las cinco aves que tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar eran Bolo (un búho real), Perla (un cárabo), Neu (un nival), Catalina (un mochuelo) y Joe (un águila). Hoy os dejo las fotos de Catalina. Las que faltan las iré publicando esta semana.

Continuing with the session with Jero Tamarit, a local falconry specialist, and five of his feathered friends, here you have the pictures of Catalina (a small owl).
Apart from Catalina, our other models for that afternoon were Bolo (an eagle owl), Perla (a tawny owl), Neu (a snowy owl) and Joe (an eagle). The remaining pictures I will post this week.

A rare bird…
No se suelen ver a los búhos nivales por esta zona por el calor que hace, pero gracias a un especialista en cetrería, Jero Tamarit, tuve la suerte la semana de conocer a uno.
Os presento a Neu, otra de las cinco aves que acompañaban a Jero ese día. Las demás aves eran Bolo (un búho real), Perla (un cárabo), Catalina (un mochuelo) y Joe (un águila).
Las fotos de Perla y Bolo ya están publicadas, solamente quedan las de Catalina yJoe, que las iré subiendo esta semana. ¡Estad atentos!

It’s not often you see a snowy owl in this area because of the heat, so when Jero Tamarit, a local falconry specialist, bought one with him to last week’s photo session, I jumped at the chance to take a couple of pictures.
The owl’s name was Neu and he was one of the five birds Jero showed us. The others were Bolo (an eagle owl), Perla (a tawny owl), Catalina (a small owl) and Joe (an eagle).
The photos of Perla and Bolo have already been posted. I’m just missing the ones of Catalina and Joe, which I will upload this week. Watch this space!
