A couple of months ago this gorgeous little lad turn one and his mum wanted to mark the occassion with something special – A cake smash session.
Cake smash photo sessions are a fun, joyful way to commemorate the milestone of your little one’s first birthday. They capture your baby’s surprise, curiosity and delight as they tear into their first taste of sugar. A cake smash is a great way to express your baby’s unique personality in a relaxed and carefree way.
These shoots are so much fun that even mum, dad and/or older siblings love to join in at the end of the session!
Hace unos meses este pequeño hombrecito cumplió un añito y su mamá quiso celebrarlo de manera diferente. Se decidió por una sesión cake smash donde los más pequeños se lo pasan en grande destrozando y pringándose ellos mismos.
Este tipo de sesiones es una forma original y diferente de celebrar su primer o segundo cumpleaños, es una excusa para hacerle unas cuantas fotos divertidas donde el peque se lo pasa en grande – Tanto que los hermanos mayores/papas tienen ganas de meterse también!
Cake, cake and more cake…And this time it was all little Noa’s during her first birthday cake smash session in our studio. Just look at those enormous eyes! As a family photographer, I love all things creative so it was game on to make a mess and have some fun. Here are a few highlights from our cake smash photo session. Noa is such a sweet little girl. She didn’t know what to make of the super sweet frosting but it sure was fun photographing her reactions to it all.
I love setting up the photography studio for fun sessions like these. Handmade props and different colour combinations make each session unique. Something creative for each child that comes through our doors. Not too much and not too little. I can’t wait to see what we come up with next!

Volvemos a destrozar la tarta! En esta ocasión es cosa de Noa. Esta pequeña de enormes ojos, tuvo su sesión de ‘Cake Smash’ en nuestro estudio. Al no tener mucha referencia de alimentos con azúcar, los bebés alucinan con semejante pastel rico rico. La norma es que no hay norma. Licencia para despachurrar, experimentar, ensuciar, jalar como si no hubiera un mañana y divertirse. Noa, desde luego, ya es toda una experta en hacernos pasar un buen rato. Feliz cumple princesa!
