12 x 2014 Terminado/Finished

Uno de mis propósitos del año 2014 ha sido el reto de elegir mi mejor foto de cada mes y subirlas por aquí, con el fin de tener 12 fotos bonitas al terminar el año…

Y, ¡ lo he conseguido !

No sabía si iba a poder hacerlo, entre el trabajo diario, obligaciones externas y los cambios y las vueltas que nos suele dar la vida, pero aquí están mis 12 fotos.

¿ Y ahora qué ? Pues nada, a descansar un ratito para recoger fuerzas…¡¡ Que mañana empieza todo de nuevo !!

Feliz año nuevo a todos y que el 2015 sea el principio del camino hacia una vida extraordinaria :-)

One of my resolutions for this year was the challenge of choosing my best image from each month. That way I’d have 12 great photos at the end of the year. 

But in between work, external obligations and the twists and turns life sends your way, I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it – Yet I did and here are my 12 imagines.

So, now what? Well, I guess I better rest up because tomorrow I start all over again!!

I hope everyone has a fantastic New Year and that 2015 is the beginning of an extraordinary chapter for you all :-)

Nocturna 6

Por fin estoy al día con el tema del reto de elegir mi mejor foto de cada mes. De todas las que hice en agosto, elijo ésta de la quedada ‘fotografía nocturna 2’. El árbol aquí me trae recuerdos a la película ‘Avatar’, sobre todo con la luz amarilla emanando desde su centro.

I am finally up-to-date with my self-inflicted challenge of choosing the best image I take from each month. Out of all of the photos that I took in August, I choose this one from ‘night photography 2’. The tree reminds me of the one from the film ‘Avatar’, especially with the yellow light glowing from it’s centre.

Uno de mis propósitos para este año es el reto de elegir mi mejor foto de cada mes y subirlas por aquí. Así al terminar el año tendré 12 fotos bonitas…Pero una cosa es la teoría y otra la práctica.

¿Y si hago muchas en un mes?, me pregunto. ¿Cómo elijo la mejor? Además, muchas veces hago fotos para personas que no quieren salir en Internet. ¡Normal!

Pero veo que más complicada aún de contestar es la pregunta de ‘¿y si hago pocas?’

De ahí que empezamos con la mejor foto del mes de Enero y la de Febrero…

Enero: Behind the mask

Febrero: Una de mis preferidas de una sesión de fotos que hice.

One of my resolutions for this year was the challenge of choosing my best image from each month. That way I’d have 12 great photos at the end of the year. Or at least that’s the theory, anyway.

So, what if I take a glut of pictures in one month? How would I choose? Not to mention the fact that many people I take picture for don’t always let me display them on here.

But what about if I take very few?!

Let’s get the ball rolling by starting off with January and February and we’ll see how it goes…
