Aquellas personas que pasaron por aquí ayer saben que la semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Jero Tamarit, un especialista en cetrería, y cinco de sus aves maravillosas.

Las cinco aves que acompañaban a Jero eran Bolo (un búho real), Perla (un cárabo), Neu (un nival), Catalina (un mochuelo) y Joe (un águila) y hoy os dejo las fotos de Bolo. Las demás las iré publicando esta semana. ¡Estad atentos!

Those of you who stopped by my blog yesterday will know that last week I had the pleasure of meeting Jero Tamarit, a local falconry specialist, and five of his feathered friends.

Our five flighty models for the afternoon were Bolo (an eagle owl), Perla (a tawny owl), Catalina (a small owl), Neu (a snowy owl) and Joe (an eagle) and here today I’ve posted the photos of Bolo. The rest I will post this week. Watch this space!

Gracias a mis amigas fotógrafas, la semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Jero Tamarit y cinco de sus aves maravillosas. Jero lleva el tema de los espectáculos de cetrería en la zona y es un hombre muy amable y humilde, que trata a sus criaturas con mucho cariño y mimos.

Las cinco aves que acompañaban a Jero eran Bolo (un búho real), Perla (un cárabo), Neu (un nival), Catalina (un mochuelo) y Joe (un águila).

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Jero Tamarit, a local falconry specialist who participates in many of the local shows and festivities. Jero bought five of his feathered friends with him and allowed us free rein with them. It was nice to meet a very seemingly genuine person and the love for what he does and the animals he care for was obvious from the start.

Our five flighty models for the afternoon were Bolo (an eagle owl), Perla (a tawny owl), Catalina (a small owl), Neu (a snowy owl) and Joe (an eagle).
