This is what happens when you tell your family and friends that you’re getting married! They arrange a surprise pre wedding party that would rival an actual wedding! These two ladies are very loved…And I had the pleasure of capturing it all :-)

In love with this intimate ‘After Wedding Session’ from August is putting it mildly!
Joanne and André got married last year in Germany but unfortunately they weren’t happy with the photos (How sad!). So when their first year anniversary came around, they decided not only to treat themselves to a holiday in Spain but also to photo shoot with me.
After discussing various locations between the three of us and as they managed to squeeze their wedding outfits in the suitcase, we finally settled on the walled fortress that is Dénia Castle – The perfect choice as it turns out for Joanne’s gorgeous ‘Princess’ style gown. So much so that more than one castle visitor stopped in awe and called her ‘the Princess of the Castle’!
One year may have past since the actual ceremony but the love and understand between these two beautiful souls is clearly timeless…And I feel honoured to have been able to capture the photos that they longed for and so rightly deserve.
A true LOVE STORY to be continued…

¡Estoy completamente enamorada de esta íntima sesión ‘Post Boda’ que tuvo lugar en agosto!
Joanne y André se casaron el año pasado en Alemania pero desgraciadamente no estaban contentos con las fotos del día (¡qué pena!). Entonces, para celebrar su primer aniversario decidieron no solo disfrutar de unas vacaciones en España sino también decidieron hacer una sesión de fotos conmigo.
Después de hablar de varias posibles localizaciones entre los tres y tras lograr meter sus trajes de boda en la maleta, finalmente nos decidimos por la fortaleza amurallada que es el Castillo de Dénia – Que resultó ser la elección acertada para el hermoso vestido de Joanne. ¡Tanto es así que más de un visitante del castillo se quedó maravillado al verla y la llamó ‘la Princesa del Castillo’!
Ha pasado un año desde la ceremonia, pero el amor y la comprensión entre estas dos almas preciosas son evidentemente eternos … Y me siento sumamente honrada de haber podido capturar las fotos que anhelaban y que tanto se merecen.
Una verdadera HISTORIA DE AMOR que continuará …

Hoy tenía ganas de enseñaros una pequeña muestra de una bonita e intima boda que tuvo lugar en Dénia el mes pasado. Es todo un placer poder trabajar con gente maravillosa y de varias nacionalidades. Mil gracias por confiar en mi trabajo y por dejarme formar parte de su gran día!
Pre Wedding Session + Ceremony | Dénia + OlivaThis pre-wedding session at Denia Castle was the very definition of ‘pre’ as the only time available to do it was moments before the actual wedding ceremony, which took place in Oliva Nova Golf.
The forecast wasn’t great, a cloudy afternoon with a chance of showers… Fortunately we were able to capture these beautiful images just before it started to pitter patter.
The ceremony was planned to take place on the beautiful roof terrace at Oliva Nova and the bride and groom were understandably concerned that the bad weather was going to spoil the day. Luckily, they needn’t have worried as the sky is suddenly cleared and they were blessed with a spectacular sunset! Surrounded by family and friends this wonderful couple said ‘I do’ under a gorgeous altar of flowers. I have to say that out of all the weddings that I have had the pleasure to photograph this year, this one has been one of the most beautiful – So much love!
Esta sesión pre-boda de Michael y Eva fue un “pre” total porque lo hicimos en el Castillo de Dénia momentos antes de realizar la ceremonia en la preciosa terraza de Oliva Nova Golf.
Una tarde calurosa de Septiembre pero con expectativas a lluvia… y así fue… mientras estábamos en el castillo de la ciudad poco a poco se iba poniendo una gran nube encima de nosotros… justo nos fue para terminar la sesión e ir a la ceremonia.
Siempre recordaré esos primeros momentos de nervios por si llovía ya que toda la celebración era en exterior sin embargo no fue para tanto y la tarde se arregló y nos bendijo con una puesta de sol espectacular. Ahí estaban los novios, radiantes hacia el ‘altar’ de flores que habían preparado. Entre amigos y familiares se dieron el Sí quiero… Una boda preciosa que transmitió muchísimo amor. ¡Cómo a mi me gustan!
