Hoy quiero darle las gracias los chicos de SUB3 Photo Studio por la invitación a su estudio para realizar un shooting con las modelos Teresa Mora y Anna Mompó Berná el sábado pasado.
Fue todo un placer conocer a Alberto J. Anton, Juan Enrique Acevedo y a Juan Giménez, y su nuevo estudio profesional localizado en Elche. También quiero agradecerles a las modelos por el trabajo que realizaron, y sobre todo por su paciencia ya que éramos varios fotógrafos.
Nos lo pasamos en grande trabajando en un entorno profesional, amable y relajado, y creo que todos hemos conseguido unos resultados muy buenos.
A continuación os dejo con las fotos que hice de Anna. (Próximamente subiré las de Teresa.)

A big thank you goes out the the guys of SUB3 Photo Studio today, for inviting me to visit their studio last Saturday to take part in a session with the wonderful Teresa Mora and Anna Mompó Berná.
It was great meeting Alberto J. Anton, Juan Enrique Acevedo and Juan Giménez (the photographers behind SUB3) and finding out a little bit more about their new professional studio in Elche. Also, I want to say thanks to the models for all the effort they put in and the patience they had with such a large group of visiting photographers.
Everyone had a brilliant time networking and shooting in a professional yet relaxed environment. I think the results speak for themselves.
Here are some of the pictures that I took of Anna. (I’ll be uploading the ones of Teresa shortly.)

Llovió el día que decidí irme a la Albufera de Valencia con el fin de fotografiar el atardecer. Llovió bastante…Además fue un sábado y el mirador estaba repleto de gente con la misma idea – Fotógrafos de cada clase, niños, jovenes, padres, abuelos, parejas, turistas y recién casados – Gente con paraguas, otros debajo de los arboles o dentro de sus coches…Todos ansiosos de ver la luz después de la tormenta.
Y el regalo fue divino…Todo llega para quien sabe esperar ;-)
It decided to rain the day I chose to go to the rice paddies of Valencia’s Albufera region. In fact, it rained quite a bit and if that wasn’t enough, the view point was full to the brim of people with the same idea – Photographers of all types, children, adolescents, parents, grandparents, couples, tourists and newly weds – All with either umbrellas, huddled under the trees or in their cars…And all eager to catch a glimpse of the sunshine after the storm.
It was worth it…All good things come to those who wait ;-)
La gran mayoría de las niñas sueñan con ser princesitas o hadas y nuestra sesión fotográfica con Nayara no hubiera sido completa sin sacar esa faceta de la peque. Vestida de su prenda favorita de color rosa y con una corona preciosa, la pequeña hadita irradia alegría mientras busca mariquitas entre las espigas de trigo.
Most little girls dream of being princesses or magical fairies and our creative photo session with Nayara wouldn’t have been complete without showing that side of her. Wearing her favourite pink dress and matching rose crown, our little fairy can be seen happily searching for ladybirds hidden in the corn.
When shooting on location I prefer to use reflectors instead of a flash were possible. Making use of the warm natural light of the ‘golden hour’ gives these photos a illuminous quality and enhances their colours.
These pictures wrap up the shoot with Nayara. Hope you have enjoyed them as much as we did making them!

Montar una cabaña, jugar a indios y vaqueros o disfrazarse…El mundo del niño contiene un sinfín de posibilidades perfectas para captar en fotografías.
A todo niño le encanta disfrazarse y el atrezzo empleado puede ser un sombrero, gafas, pelucas, tacones entre muchos otros. A Nayara le gusta la naturaleza y hacer cabañas. Con ganas e ilusión, se lo pasó en grande, tanto montando la tienda india como posando para las fotos.
Como nos divertimos sacando su lado aventurero !

Building dens, playing at cowboys and indians or simply dressing up…A child’s world is brimming with possibilities just waiting to be photographed.
Kids love dressing up and anything goes, from hats, glasses, wigs to high-heels. Nayara loves being outdoors and playing ‘house’, so imagine the look on her face when we started to put together a teepee during the first part of the photo shoot. She had just as much fun helping us as posing for the pictures.
A great time was had by all bring out her adventurous side!
