I rounded off last year’s wedding season with this beautiful winter wedding in December. Markus and Joanne live in Australia but their respective families come from Germany and Ireland, hence why they opted for a winter destination wedding in Altea, Spain – It was logistically easier for all involved!
For me it was wonderful to be a part of such an international wedding where different customs were blended effortlessly. It was also lovely to see that the bride and groom wanted to incorporate the region’s most emblematic scenery in their couple’s photos…Check out their pictures amongst the orange, olive and almond groves below!

Terminé la temporada de bodas del año pasado con esta hermosa boda de invierno en diciembre. Markus y Joanne viven en Australia, pero sus respectivas familias vienen de Alemania e Irlanda, por lo que optaron por una boda en Altea, España. ¡Fue logísticamente más fácil para todos los involucrados!
Para mí fue maravilloso ser parte de una boda tan internacional donde las diferentes costumbres se combinaban sin esfuerzo. También fue maravilloso ver que los novios querían incorporar el paisaje más emblemático de la región en las fotos de pareja … ¡Ve sus fotos entre los campos de naranjos, olivos y almendros a bajo!
